Tags: Palm’s Pre – Decent iPhone competitor?
Of course, this is a demo video, and real-world speed may not be anywhere near this, but I must admit that the interface in the above demo video of the Palm Pre looks intriguing. With the iPhone, Apple was able to leverage its dedicated Mac developer base to jump start app development. Palm has no such advantage.
And it will charge wirelessly—another one of those cool tricks that have been around for a while, but not implemented.
There's no way I would get one over an iPhone right now, but a little competition is good for Apple.
