Now what?

A mishmash of thoughts on religion, life, technology, and whatnot.

The lesser of two evils?

Last week, on our vacation, I took time to finish up Ron Paul's The Revolution - A Manifesto. It's a great read. Makes some great points about our government and our society.

Now that the Ron Paul campaign for President is over, I had previously said that I would vote for Obama as a protest vote against McCain. But now that there's a viable alternative, I'll vote Libertarian again. This time around, the Libertarian party has a candidate with some name recognition, former Republican Congressman Bob Barr (GA). But isn't voting for a 3rd party just throwing your vote away? A vote for the status quo is a wasted vote. Sure, Bob Barr is most likely to take votes away from McCain, costing him the presidency. I'm ok with that.
